This research was conducted at the experimental farm for the Zungarococha, owned by the Faculty of Agronomy of the UNAP, located in the village Zungarococha (district of San Juan, Maynas province), south of the city 20 km from the city of Iquitos, characterized in that deck height with a sandy loam soil. Whose geographical coordinates are: LS: 03 ° 46 '13.2 ", LO: 73 ° 22' 10.4" Elevation: 126 meters. The aim of this study was to generate basic information on indirect selection criteria for yield of fruit as a basis for future genetic improvement in cocona. That plant height character with fruit yield has shown positive but not significant, significant for Ecotipo B, and association positive and highly significant associations for ecotypes A and D for Ecotipo C. That the character stem diameter, is positively associated with performance, and is highly significant for the ecotype A, not significant for the Ecotipo B and C, and significant for the Ecotipo D, which is corroborated by the high statistical significance in the analysis variance of the regression for Ecotipo a, and statistical significance for Ecotipo D, indicating the dependence of fruit yield of stem diameter in these ecotypes ecotypes but not in B and C. For the character leaf area is associated positively and significantly with the performance for highly significant for Ecotipo D Ecotipo A, but for ecotypes B and C, the relationship is negative, which is corroborated by the analysis of variance of the regression which shows that between these two significant and highly significant dependence variables in ecotypes A and D, respectively, but not in B and C. ecotypes For the number of fruit character is highly significant positive associated with fruit yield in all studied cocona ecotypes. In character fruit diameter, is associated positively and highly significantly with fruit yield which is corroborated by the analysis of variance of the regression where there is a highly significant dependence between these two characteristics. Likewise for the long character average fruit is positively and significantly associated with fruit yield, where there is a significant dependence on fruit yield with the average length of fruit. The average weight of the fruit character is positive and highly significantly associated with fruit yield in all studied populations, which is corroborated by the analysis of variance of the regression.
