This thesis entitled "STYLES OF THINKING AND LEADERSHIP STYLES OF MANAGERS AND DEPUTY OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF HORSE COCHA - 2013" is a research descriptive bivariate as it sought to identify the thinking styles that have dominance in management of public educational institutions Caballo Cocha by lords and deputy directors; and evaluate, in the vision of teachers gentlemen, the leadership style that prevails in authorities of public educational institutions in the capital of the province of Ramón Castilla. The main objective was to evaluate precisely the thinking styles and leadership of principals lords of the public Educational Institutions Caballo Cocha. We worked with the following assumptions: Most principals and vice practice court thought as functions, hierarchical thinking in the forms; global thinking by levels; external thoughts as scopes and conservative thought as inclinations. As for leadership styles arose that ABSENT style is what prevails in principals and vice lords, in the opinion of their teachers. In relation to the population and sample worked with a population of 14 directors and deputy directors, of which the sample formed eight principals and assistant principals. We worked with a sample of 24 teachers, applying non-probability convenience sampling. Regarding the results, hypotheses were confirmed, since in terms of thinking styles by function, most managers (62%) have the legal style, followed by (25%) legislative style and then the executive style (13%). According to the form, most directors working with hierarchical style (37%) followed by the monarchy and anarchic styles, each with 25% and finally the oligarchic style with 13%. Depending on the level, principals and vice-Caballo Cocha, mostly working with global style (75%), followed by local style (25%). Depending on the scope, directors and deputy directors of Caballo Cocha practice external thinking style (75%), followed by internal style (25%); and, in their inclination, 75% practice conservative style, and 25% liberal style.
