In the present thesis work, it has main goal which is evaluate the antioxidant activity and identify phenolics components of alcoholic fraction of Theobroma obovatum skin. The biological part (skin) of the selected species was collected in San Juan Bautista district, Maynas, in Loreto region from Allpahuayo lnvestigations Center {A.I.C.) of Peruvian Amazon Investigations lnstitute {P.A.I.I.), in the National Allpahuayo Re~erve- Mishana area. They were washed and dried in a stove to 33°C during 1 O to 14 days then they were pulverized and stored to -20°C in a complete darkness. We used condenser with reflux and rotavapor for alcoholic extraction1 • The total polyphenol determination from extract {50 mg/ml) and fractions through spectrophotometer UV-Vis 700 nm2 . The division into fraction process was through chromatography of open column and thin cape. The evaluation of antioxidant activity of get fractions was through abductions essays of free radic.als with DPPH reactive (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhidrazyli. The determination, identification and quantization of phenolics components were get through high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) reverse phase to 280 nm4 ; and gases chromatography of mass/mass (GCMs/Ms). We get a total of 19 fractions which with a best antioxidant activity was named F-10 with 90% of antioxidant capability and 10% of reduction and a concentration oftotal polyphenol in g/100g CE 30.88 ± 0.0478. In identification and quantization the :fraction F-10 was showed by HPLC which had de 41.97 x 10-3 g/1 OOg ofchlorine acid and 5 components no identified and by GC-Ms/Ms, it showed probable phenolics -components which are phosponic acid, {p-hidroxyphenyl); mequinol; homovanillyl alcohol; 3,4,5-trimetoxyphenol.
