The Macro Region East of Peru, for purposes of the present master's thesis, is made up of the regions: Amazonas, Loreto, San Martín and Ucayali, all of them endowed with a great biodiversity that has been exploited and exported. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) defines Biotrade as a set of activities for the collection, production, processing or commercialization of goods and services derived from native biodiversity, under criteria of environmental, social and economic sustainability. The objective of the present investigation is to analyze the evolution of the exports of the Biotrade Sector of the Macro Eastern Region of Peru, during the period 2013 - 2017. For this purpose, the present investigation is Descriptive and Non-Experimental design type was carried out, Analyzing the evolution of exports of the Biotrade sector year after year, as well as the products that make it up, identifying the importance of each of them. The companies that made the shipments abroad and the destination countries of these were identified. The study shows that exports had a variable behavior year after year, growing in 2013 by 3.28% in relation to the year 2012, before decreasing in -9.33% in 2014; However, the year 2015 reported a positive increase of 4.43% and then fell drastically in 2016 to -16.83% and finally, the year 2017 grew significantly in 300.14%. On the product side, "Stevia" was the main good exported with US $ 14,523,342.20 equivalent to 34.80% of the total, followed by "Palmito" with 33.74% of the total exported for a value of US $ 14,081,579.57. The export of both products represents 68.54% of the total value of the shipments. In the same sense, the company "Stevia One Peru SAC." Exported the figure of US $ 14,461,387.83 equivalent to 34.65% of the total. Finally, the destination of shipments was "Free Zones of Peru" with a value of US $ 13,348,200.36 which means 31.98% of the total value. It concludes by noting that there is a strong concentration of exports of the Biocomercio sector in a few products (Stevia), few companies (Stevia One Peru SAC.) And few destinations (Free Zones of Peru), a situation that makes them very vulnerable to the changes that they could be produced in the international market, having a negative impact on the sector's total exports. On the other hand, it must be ensured that the products of the sector are used considering the principles and criteria of biotrade, sharing the benefits with the communities.
