Loreto is characterized by housing an important amount of natural resources that are used to promote its economic development, being the main ones: wood, fuel, ornamental fish, palmetto, camu camu, etc. The objective of this master's thesis is to determine the impact of exports of ornamental fish on the value of total exports from the Loreto region, carried out in the period 2013 - 2017. Guided by this objective, this research was carried out Correlational type and Non-Experimental design, analyzing in detail the exports of ornamental fish through exported species, export companies and target markets. The results show that exports of ornamental fish did not determine the behavior of total exports of Loreto, since they only accounted for 8.25%, which shows that exports of ornamental fish do not determine the behavior of total exports of Loreto. The exported species that generated the largest foreign currency was Arahuana with an amount of US $ 5,757,954.43; figure that represented 37.24% of the total amount exported. The analysis of the exporting companies shows that the largest exports were made by Acuatrade SAC., And amounted to US $ 6,692,527.82; equivalent to 43.29% of the total value exported. In relation to the destination of exports, these were concentrated in China, which received 38.18% of shipments amounting to US $ 5,903,750.52. Finally, the results show that the exports of ornamental fish from the Loreto were concentrated in a few species (Arahuana), few companies (Acuatrade SAC.) And few markets (China).
