The objective of this research work was to pose the problem: What relationship exists between contextual factors and teaching performance in the Pilot Special Basic Education Center (CEBE) - Ica Region, province of Chincha, during the period 2020?, and has The objective was to determine the relationship between contextual factors and teaching performance at the Pilot Special Basic Education Center (CEBE) - Ica Region, province of Chincha, during the period 2020. The quantitative and analytical method, of a non-experimental type, was used. The descriptive correlational design was used. The non-probabilistic study sample was made up of 20 teachers. To collect data, the survey was used as a technique and two instruments were developed: A questionnaire to know the level of Contextual Factors and another questionnaire to know the level of Teaching Performance. Descriptive statistics were used for data processing, the presentation of the results was done through tables and figures; in addition to inferential statistics for testing the hypotheses. The results show that 100% of the sample is located in the “Good” category in contextual factors and 60% is located in the “Good” category in teaching performance. Spearman's Rho correlation test amounts to r =0.890, so it is concluded that there is a very strong and significant direct relationship between contextual factors and teaching performance at the Pilot Special Basic Education Center (CEBE) – Ica Region , province of Chincha, during the 2020 period.
