The thesis entitled The rubrics and the improvement of the teaching practice in the area of mathematics in the Educational Institutions of the District of Lurigancho, 2018, was developed with the objective of establishing the relationship between the rubrics with the improvement of the teaching practice in area of mathematics of the Educational Institutions of the district of Lurigancho, 2018, is a quantitative study, of descriptive type; it is required with the non-experimental, transversal, descriptive - correlational design.It was attended by 25 teachers in the area of mathematics; and the sample was not probabilistic. To measure the variables, check the questionnaire based on the variables (the rubrics and the improvement of teaching practice). It was found that 72.0% (18) is in process in terms of rubrics, and in the second variable 48.0% (12) indicates that teaching practice is regular. Finally, it was concluded that: the rubrics are directly related to the teaching practice, that is, the better the rubrics, the greater the teaching practice in the area of mathematics in the Educational Institutions of the District of Lurigancho, 2018, also according to the correlation Spearman's of 0.586 represents this moderate positive correlation.
