The development of the Thesis is of the experimental type, which has as main objective "To demonstrate the contribution of the educational material of electromagnetism in the competences of the Science and Technology Area in fifth grade students of the Felipe Huamán Poma de Ayala Educational Institution, Lurigancho - Chosica 2022. " During the process we worked with two groups: the first Control (GC) and the second experimental (GE); Therefore, the research design that was applied is Quasi-experimental, in which the Pre-test and the Post-test are presented in a totally virtual modality for both groups. For the development of these classes, the WhatsApp application was used, using the most didactic methods for each group equally, the only difference being the use of educational material; With the help of visual icons included in the text, it was sought to emphasize the fundamental ideas and images for the visualization of said phenomena. Rubrics were developed to evaluate both groups, and thus subsequently be able to measure them statistically using the SPSS Software. Reaching the conclusion that the educational material on electromagnetism is feasible and applicable, it even contributes significantly to the development of general competence and encourages participation, motivation and teamwork in students of the VII secondary level of the Educational Institution "Felipe Huamán Poma de Ayala, Lurigancho - Chosica 2022".
