The objective of this research work was the present investigation called "Diet quality and nutritional status in infants beneficiaries of the Cuna Más National Program, Huaya- Ayacucho, 2019. Its objective was evaluate the quality of the diet and the nutritional status of the infants who are beneficiaries of the Program Nacional Cuna Más. Materials and Methods: A descriptive study, with a cut-off design transversal - non-experimental. Two samples were considered, one that is made up of 15 mid-morning, lunch and mid-afternoon rations respectively for a period of one month, To determine the quality of the diet, it was carried out by direct weighing of the food and conversion and composition tables were used. The second sample made up of 45 infants under 3 years of age (22 women and 23 men) in whom the information was recorded that, using the anthropometric method, allows us to determine the nutritional status of infants. Result, an inadequate supply was found due to excess energy and protein in the diet according to age group. In micronutrients (Iron, Calcium, Zinc, Vit. A and Vit. C) they present mostly an inadequate contribution due to excess, therefore, we can affirm that the rations served to infants who are beneficiaries of the Cuna Más National Program are inadequate due to excess. While regarding the nutritional status, 67% have a nutritional status normal and 33% have a poor nutritional status.
