This research addresses transcendental issues of the period of the so-called "civil wars between the conquerors" for educational purposes. It aims to motivate students to build renewed historical interpretations with the analysis of contemporary documents, understanding the complexity of a process that encompasses parallel issues such as the Inca liberation war and the imposition of terror in the invasion and destruction of Tahuantinsuyo. It explains the causes of the wars between the Spanish and the formation of groups differentiated by the tenure or lack of encomiendas. It points to the direct interference of the Spanish King and his royal advisers, bought for the wealth sent from Peru by the Pizarros. It postulates that separatism germinated among the radicals of Almagro el Mozo, a mestizo caudillo who attempted an alliance with Manco Inca. Finally, it documents the enslavement and annihilation of millions of Andean inhabitants, in the greatest genocide that universal history has known, with documented references to the aperreamiento, killing, burning, mutilation and torture of men, women and children, being the victim of one of the most horrifying crimes. the Inca queen Ccora Ocllo, assassinated by the Pizarro brothers.
