Abstract: The objective of this research work is to know how educational leadership by the director impacts educational quality in an UGEL located in Yurimaguas. To fulfill this objective, it is important to keep in mind that the methodological procedure must use information and analysis. of numerical data for the establishment and fulfillment of the hypothesis contrast, in the same way, there was no deliberate manipulation of the variables, in other words, the researcher did not intervene directly on the variables, and only sought to evaluate the level of explanation of the variable independent over dependent. With this, there were around 98 workers who constituted the sample, these being the ones who applied a questionnaire for each variable. The findings have shown that 61% of the participants rated the director's leadership as low, in that sense, the level of educational quality was also rated as poor (66%). With this information it was possible to conclude that directive leadership had an effect on educational quality by 68.5%.
