he general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between reading habits and reading comprehension in students of the third grade of Primary School of the Educational Institution No. 5096 Callao. The sample consisted of 106 students. . The method used was the hypothetical-deductive, the purpose was the non-experimental design of a cross- sectional correlational level; The information was collected in a specific period, the survey technique and the data collection instrument were developed, it was a questionnaire that was used to collect information from the students via google forms. For the reliability of the instrument, the KR-20 was used, which for the variable reading habits was 0.838 and for the variable reading comprehension it was 0.824. For the descriptive analysis, it was performed through the frequency distribution tables and the bar graph. And for the testing of the hypothesis it was carried out by Rho de Spearman. The research concluded that there is a good correlation between reading habits and levels of reading comprehension in students of the third grade of Primary at the educational institution No. 5096 Callao. Being Spearman's Rho = 0.916 and pValue = 0.000 <0.05 ;. This confirmed the hypothesis and the general objective of the study.
