The objective of this research work was the general objective, it was established that there is a strong significant relationship (p=0.000 and rho=+0.888) between the variables Emotional Intelligence and Abilities Social in the students of the fifth cycle of primary education of the Institution Educational Augusto Javier Gutiérrez Mendoza, in the year 2021. Likewise, determined that 51% of students indicated that Emotional Intelligence presents a higher level and 39.2% a high level, with minorities of 7.8% at the regular level and 2% in the bass; On the other hand, 58.8% indicate that interpersonal skills they have a high performance and with minorities of 37.3% in the superior level and 3.9% in the regular. The contribution of the students in this study allowed us to know that when students increase the levels of their Emotional Intelligence increases the level of their Social Skills, with a strong degree of measurement, in the institution education that was mentioned. In reference to the first specific objective, it was determined that there is a relationship moderately significant (p=0.000 and rho=+0.725) between the Self-awareness dimension and the variable Social Skills in students of the fifth cycle of primary education of the Augusto Javier Gutiérrez Mendoza Educational Institution, in the year 2021. Likewise, it was determined that 54.9% of students indicated that Self-Awareness It has a high performance, with minorities of 25.5% in the superior level 13.7% in the regular level and 5.9% in the low level; On the other hand, 58.8% indicate that the interpersonal skills have a high performance and with minorities of 37.3% at the higher level and 3.9% at the regular level. The contribution of the students in this study allowed us to know that when students increase the levels of their Self-awareness increases the level of your Social Skills, with a degree of moderate measure, in the educational institution that was mentioned.
