The present research sought to answer the research problem formulated: What is the relationship between management skills and the organizational commitment of the personnel of the staff of the Santa María de Chicmo Health Center, Andahuaylas, 2019? the general objective was to establish the existing relationship between managerial skills and the organizational commitment of staff. To carry out this research, a total of the Santa María de Chicmo Health Center, Andahuaylas, currently working and totaling 50 individuals that make up the staff of the Santa María de Chicmo Health Center, Andahuaylas, were taken as a population. that currently works. For the fulfillment of the general objective and the specific objectives, the methodological procedures were developed under the quantitative approach, following the structure of the non-experimental research design of the transectional design type. The data was processed statistically using a statistical software called SPSS version 22.0. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used at the same time, taking the data collected through the management skills surveys and the Meyer and Allen organizational commitment scale that measure both variables, after determining their validity and reliability. The hypothesis test selected after normality test or Goodness of Fit Shapiro Willk was the Spearman Correlation Test, which allowed us to obtain a sig = 0.00 value less than = 0.05 which led to rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the research hypothesis. Similarly, it was shown that both variables are significantly related.
