The objective of this research work was titled "Budget execution and quality of expenditure of the budget program 0018 non-communicable diseases of the Executing Unit 401 Alto Mayo Health, province of Moyobamba, district of Moyobamba, department of San Martín." The objective of which was to determine the level of relationship between budget execution and the quality of expenditure of budget program 0018, non-communicable diseases of the Executing Unit 401 Alto Mayo health, province of Moyobamba, district of Moyobamba, department of San Martín. The research work was developed under a quantitative approach, descriptive correlational type and non-experimental design, transversal scope. We worked with 135 administrative workers from the Execution Unit 401 Salud Alto Mayo as a sample. To collect data and information, 2 questionnaires were used to measure the variables budget execution and quality of expenditure. The questionnaires consisted of 16 and 12 items for each variable respectively. The results reflected the existence of a significant relationship between both variables studied, with a p value of 0.000 and an “r” value of 0.732, showing a considerable positive correlation.
