The objective of this research work is to determine the relationship between creativity and reading comprehension in Primary Education students. This research is important since it will help students to understand different texts, all thanks to their creative capacity, since, by developing an idea for themselves, they will feel satisfied with their reading progress. The methodology used is non-experimental-quantitative, descriptive correlational design. In this work, it has been shown, through the statistical treatment carried out by SPSS 21, that the data were reliable and at the time of making the correlation between creativity and reading comprehension, a percentage of 87.8% was obtained with a positive correlation (Hernández, Fernández and Baptista, 2014) rejecting in this way the null hypothesis and accepting the alternative hypothesis of the research, meaning that the more creativity, the greater the reading comprehension in the students of the third grade of primary education. This research was completed in 2017.
