The thesis The professional motivation and the performance of teachers in the Alternative Basic Education Centers, in the UGEL 06, Lima, 2021 is a work that evaluates the level of relationship of the variables, of a substantive type, a statistical analysis was carried out using a non-experimental correlational outline, because the variables were not manipulated (Hernández et al., 2010). The work sample consisted of 78 randomly selected collaborating teachers. The measurement of the factors was subject to an instrument with various arguments, presenting as factors (Professional motivation and teacher performance), meeting the minimum validation requirements (qualification of experts) and the correlation coefficient (Sperman's Rho 0,742 and 0,923, respectively). It was found that 46,2 % of collaborating teachers consider that professional motivation is in a medium status, as well as 64,1 % of collaborating teachers also consider that teaching performance is of the same average status. The results obtained help us draw conclusions from the relationship between professional motivation factors and teaching performance in the CEBA of UGEL 06, Lima, 2021, and according to the results, these variables present a significant relationship. (p ˂ 0,05, Spearman's Rho = 0,578, being moderate positive correlation). Keywords: Professional motivation, teaching performance, random.
