The objective of this research work is to determine the relationship between family climate and study habits. The study was of a quantitative approach, correlational type, non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population was made up of 340 students enrolled in the V cycle of primary education and the sample was non-probabilistic for convenience, made up of 164 students. The instruments were the family social climate scale [FES] and the study habits questionnaire [CHTE]. The results found were, 64% of students present a medium family climate level; 45.7% of students are at the level "need to improve" study habits; 25% have a "medium" level in the relationship dimension and need to improve their study habits, P = 0.049 <0.05; 19.5% present a "medium" level in the development dimension and an "acceptable" level in study habits, P = 0.614> 0.05; 32.3% of students have a "medium" level in the stability dimension and need to improve study habits, P = 0.386> 0.05. 30.5% of students have a “medium” level in the family climate variable and it is located in the “need to improve” level in the study habits variable. Applying the hypothesis test, the value P = 0.739> 0 was found. 05. It is concluded, there is no relationship between both variables.
