The objective of this research work was to analyze the relationship between prior control and the administrative process at the UNE EGyV in the year 2022. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach with a correlational and transversal, non-experimental design. The selected sample consisted of 50 administrative workers appointed and hired in the areas of the rector's office, vice-chancellors' offices, accounting, treasury, contracting and general administration management. The sample selection was carried out through convenience sampling. The survey was used as the main data collection technique, and two Likert-type questionnaires were applied to measure the perception of prior control and the administrative process. To determine the degree of association between the variables, Spearman's non-parametric correlation coefficient was used. The results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.735, with a significance level of 0.000. This led to the conclusion that there is a high positive correlation between prior control and the administrative process, that is, an efficient prior control is related to an efficient administrative process. He concluded that effective prior control is important in the university's administrative process, demonstrating that there is a significant positive correlation between both variables. These findings suggest that improving prior control can have a positive impact on the efficiency of the administrative process.
