The objective of this research work is to publicize virtual teaching and the learning of English in first grade secondary school students at the I.E. Newton, Carabayllo, in the 2022 academic year. The objectives of this study were to know the relationship between virtual teaching of the English language and student learning, through the use of synchronous and asynchronous activities with virtual resources and applications. Non-experimental quantitative research was used as a methodology, the correlational design was used and the method used was descriptive. The research described the activities that the teacher carries out for virtual teaching in the area of English and how these activities are related to the development of receptive and productive skills in the area of English. The sample was non-probabilistic census and consisted of 30 first grade students at the secondary level. The intentional sampling technique was used to determine the sample. The survey and documentary analysis were used as techniques. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire to measure the virtual teaching variable, which was validated by expert judgment and the pilot test was applied to 10 students using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, the result of which was 0.890, while for the second variable, an English test was applied. The results of the study showed through the Spearman Rho test, which reached 0.703, that is, the higher the level reached by the virtual class methodology, the higher the level achieved by learning the English language, which represents a correlation high positive.
