In the present investigation: “Academic stress and general psychology learning in students of the II cycle of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Enrique Guzmán y Valle University, 2018”, aimed to determine the relationship between academic stress and learning of the general psychology. The approach was quantitative. Type applied Descriptive cross-sectional descriptive non-experimental design. The population was made up of 175 students and sample 120. The technique used was the survey. The instrument used was the Likert-type questionnaire. The validity of the instrument by expert opinion was 86%. The reliability with Cronbach's Alpha was greater than 0.96 and 0.93 for each variable. The results show that of 100% of the students surveyed, whatever the level of learning of the biological and social bases they have, 22.5% have very high academic stress, 35.8% are high, in 19 , 2% is medium and in 22.5% it is low. The hypothesis contrast with Pearson's Chi-square resulted in the level of significance being less than 0.05; therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted; that is, there is statistical evidence to affirm that there is a significant relationship between academic stress and general psychology learning in students of the II cycle of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Enrique Guzmán y Valle University, 2017
