The objective of this research work was the present thesis reports the research carried out on the relationship between school victimization and self-concept in the students of the 3rd and 4th year of secondary school of the Experimental Application College of the National University of Education (CEAUNE). The stratified sample consisted of 162 students, selected randomly. The research had a quantitative approach, was of an applied type, descriptive-correlational scope and cross-sectional design. The collection instruments information used were: the School Victimization Scale among Peers, and the Self-concept Questionnaire AF-5, which were corroborated in the content validity and reliability of the same with the Aiken validity coefficient and alpha coefficient of Cronbach. The statistical treatment of the data was done with the stanones scale for the description of the variables and Pearson's parametric correlation test for the testing of correlational hypotheses and the statistical significance of the results show them. The results reported the existence of a high negative correlation between the school victimization and the self-concept of the students surveyed; likewise, both the degree to which the direction of the negative association detected would be replicated with the variations of the case between school victimization and the emotional dimensions, academic, social and physical self-concept of participating adolescents. The exeption was that school victimization had a moderate and negative association with the dimension of the self-concept of the responding schoolchildren. The findings found were statistically significant at a probability level of p = < 0.05.
