From the theoretical approach to education, it was possible to analyze the extent to which the evaluation methods applied by teachers are related to the level of learning of students at the secondary level in the science and technology area of the Naval Academy " Rear Admiral Montero ", San Miguel. In this vision, the present investigative work was carried out taking a non-probabilistic census sample of 163 students of the third grade of secondary education. The data were obtained by means of the Likert scale where the survey technique was used. The survey was elaborated by the researcher proposing attitudinal affirmations and multiple options, in order to identify the level of use that the teacher had of the techniques. , procedure, forms and frequencies of the evaluation. The investigation was framed methodologically of basic type, correlational descriptive level, with non-experimental cross-sectional design. The main findings of the research pointed to the application of evaluation methods applied by teachers, whose results were of a high level (42.8%), being the most critical point, the way to obtain the final qualifier which is perceived as deficient at 31.9% and as good at 23.5%. In relation to the level of learning we find that perceived by the student as good at 55.4% .
