In this century, the knowledge society should lead us to social cohesion and active participation of people, of the teacher who must perform new functions, to respond to the different demands of society, so it is necessary that the teacher develop new competences that allow them to promote efficient learning and new ways of working in the classroom and outside of it, in this context this research is developed that aims to determine the relationship between coaching and basic skills in teachers. From the analysis developed we can deduce the results obtained by each one of the informant teachers, who validated the instruments that were delivered to them in a timely manner. From the processed results we can conclude that the questionnaire is valid, the perception about school coexistence has an average of 90%. For the validation of the questionnaire on the Perception of the development of professional competences, the Alpha of CronBach was used, which yielded 0.812%. The values obtained from the Spearman Correlation Coefficient calculated with the SPSS, giving a value r = 0.724 which means a moderate positive relationship between the variables under study. This implies the importance of teacher training and lifelong learning, one of the topics aired in international educational organizations.
