The main objective of this research paper was to determine what digital technologies teachers use for initial learning in public educational institutions in urban and rural areas of the Huancavelica region according to the results of the ENEDU 2018 survey. It was based on the methodology of qualitative approach, simple descriptive, non-experimental and cross- sectional study design. The census sample was 210 teachers from rural and urban areas of the public educational institutions of the Huancavelica region. For the documentary analysis, the instrument that was applied was the National Survey of Educational Institutions at the Initial, Primary and Secondary Levels in 2018 designed by the Ministry of Education. as a result, only 23% (45) of teachers at the initial education level participate in technology training programs. 61.1% (121) teachers do use Peruvian Educa's digital resources in their learning sessions. The main reasons why teachers do not make use of the tools of PerúEduca, is because 61.1% (47) do not have access to the internet, which limits participation in training programs in digital technologies, this means that teachers cannot acquire new knowledge to make good use of digital technologies in learning sessions or projects.
