An investigation was carried out on the Quality of Life related to health and the Working Conditions of workers in the Civil Construction sector of a work in the department of Moquegua. Objective: Describe the quality of life related to health and identify the characteristics of working conditions in construction workers. Material and Methods: Based on a descriptive, observational, cross-sectional investigation, a study was carried out on a total of 188 workers, to whom the Salazar and Bernabé Quality of Life surveys were applied, as well as the Working Conditions. safety and health of Censopas - INS. Results: Our study evaluated 188 workers, 91.5% males predominated, the mean age was 38.84 years. 88.8% carry out operational work and 11.2% administrative. The health-related quality of life results were good, both in the physical (CSF:88.8) and mental (CSM:76.9) health components. Regarding working conditions, workers are exposed to long hours of work (over 48 hours, mode 77), they perceive being exposed in a general way (always, almost always or sometimes) to the perception of work and effort (88.8% ), high amount of work (78.2%), radiation (76.6%), noise (75%), low control over work (72.4%), risk of falls at the same level (71.8%), repetitive movements (68.6%), high work rate (68.1%), uncomfortable postures (65.4%), chemicals (55.3%), lifting loads (51.6%) and hiding emotions (51%). Workers perceive a high exposure (always and almost always), to work and effort (50%), radiation (36.7%), risk of falling at different levels (34%), risk of machines and tools (30.4 %), high amount of work (29.8%), noise (29.8%), low work control (26.1%), fall to the same level (22.9%), repeated movement (22.9%) and chemical agents (22.1%). The general perception of health was acceptable (very good and good) in 89.3%, the perception of mental health was unfavorable in some factors with more than 60% (losing sleep due to worries, feeling under pressure to some degree). 54% felt sad or depressed. SST resources and preventive activities remained favorable above 80%.
