Burnout syndrome, defined as the feeling of tiredness or failure, can affect every health professional. Nursing's main function is to provide quality humanized care; however, this quality of care can be affected when the professional's well-being is not adequate. Material and methods: Descriptive-correlational research, non-experimental design, cross-sectional with participation of 56 care nurses who meet the selection criteria. Two questionnaires were used; the Maslach Burnout Inventory - Human Services Survey and the Coping Strategies Inventory (CSI). The questionnaires were administered virtually through the Google Forms platform; It is exported to a database in MS Excel and using the statistical program Stata version 17.0, the Chi-square test is used and it works at a statistical significance level of 0.05 (p<0.05). Results: The relationship between the two variables is inverse and the difference found was statistically significant (p=0.035). The strategies most used by nursing staff are problem solving, social support and wishful thinking; Regarding styles, nurses use more those focused on the problem. Conclusions: It was determined that there is an inversely proportional relationship between Burnout Syndrome and Coping Strategies.
