Crimes against sexual freedom (DCLS) represent a significant legal and social issue in Latin America, and Peru is one of the countries where this harsh reality is most evident. The Clinical Forensic Unit (UNCLIFOR) is the operational unit of the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences (IML), providing specialized care through expert examinations related to alleged DCLS. These types of crimes are one of the leading causes for a high demand for forensic labor. Forensic labor serves as a technical, scientific, and academic tool developed by forensic physicians and other health professionals from both public and private institutions, in compliance with various current legal provisions. Currently, the care of DCLS victims is embedded in a series of processes that, due to resource availability, their disjointed nature, lack of leadership, and insufficient planning, result in the re-victimization of affected individuals and an inefficient use of resources in the care process. This work aims to develop a strategic plan for the UNCLIFOR area responsible for assessing alleged DCLS cases to enhance the care approach for alleged victims, ensuring compliance with all current legal requirements, with greater certainty, speed, fairness, scientific rigor, and focusing on a humanized treatment towards the alleged victim.
