The present study was proposed with the objective of knowing the relationship between leadership styles and work engagement in customer service collaborators in an outsourcing company in the city of Cusco, the research is non-experimental, descriptive, correlational and transactional. It was applied in a sample of 107 collaborators, selected by means of a non-probabilistic sampling by quotas. For the measurement of the variables, the instruments were used: the Celid leadership styles questionnaire, Form S, which identifies the leadership styles perceived by the collaborators and the Utrecht scale of work engagement 17, measuring the level of engagement of the collaborators. After carrying out the statistical analysis of the relationship between both variables, it is observed that there is a relationship between the variables of leadership styles and work engagement, using the Chi2 statistic, with a moderate association, using Cramer's V test 0.436. Regarding the relationship between each leadership style and work engagement, the non-parametric Chi2 test and Somers' D test were applied to determine the strength of the association in ordinal variables, a direct and moderate intensity relationship with the style was found in detail. transformational leadership, with a Somers D value of 0.417. Regarding the transactional leadership style, no relationship was found with work engagement and between the laissez faire style and work engagement the relationship was negative and of moderate intensity due to the Somers D value of -0.450.
