Background: Health entities worldwide consider COVID-19 as a pathology that alters the well-being of the person at the physical, mental and social levels, causing massive deaths in all age groups. Despite the end of the sanitary emergency, this virus has not been completely eradicated due to the appearance of new variants; however, the general population, especially adolescents, have stopped practicing biosecurity norms during the return to school, resuming social activities, causing many adolescents to become infected and even die because most of them are unaware of the current situation. Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about preventive measures against COVID-19 in adolescents from third to fifth year of high school in a state school in Lima, Lima, 2023. Methods and Materials: A cross-sectional scheme was applied, without manipulation of variables, correlational model, with a quantitative method. The selected group consisted of 142 adolescents from third to fifth year of high school, who answered the questionnaires "Level of knowledge about preventive measures against Covid-19" and "Attitudes about preventive measures against Covid-19". Results: The adolescents presented high knowledge with 51.4% and regular attitudes with 78.2%, finding a minimum positive correlation (0.135) according to Spearman's test. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between knowledge and the attitude that each adolescent has on these measures.
