Background: User satisfaction is a fundamental element in the evaluation of health care services, since it influences the prestige, recognition, reliability and security that a health institution provides. Objectives: Determine the level of satisfaction of the external user in the quality of care provided by the Medical Technologist in a level III–1 hospital in Lima, Peru, 2023. Materials and methods: Prospective, descriptive, quantitative and transversal research that included 356 users served to whom a questionnaire was applied. Data analysis was performed with Stata 2,0 statistical software. Results: Of the total number of patients evaluated, the mean age was 50,65 ± 16,23 years, where 62,36% (n=222) were women. General satisfaction with the quality of care from the Medical Technologist was observed to be high at 97,75% (n=348). Regarding the dimensions of satisfaction, it was found that 95,51% (n=340) of the patients presented high levels of satisfaction in the technical–scientific dimension, 95,22% (n=339) in the interpersonal dimension. and 96,35% (n=343) in the environment dimension. Furthermore, the bivariate analysis found that age (p=0,001) and level of education (p<0,001) were characteristics associated with greater general satisfaction with the quality of care among users. Conclusions: The overall patient satisfaction with the quality of care provided by the Medical Technologist was high compared to regional hospitals in Lima.
