Introduction: Endodontic microsurgery has a high success rate, however, it is reduced in mandibular first molars due to the thickness of the buccal cortical bone and its complex anatomy. The reason for this portfolio will cover concepts and studies to be able to make appropriate measurements of the anatomical structures related to the surgical procedure. Thematic development: 3 works have been prepared: Continuing education syllabus of the endodontic surgery planning course, review of stomatological literature of a transversal Research Project. Conclusions: The syllable allows us to address topics in a more structured way to achieve a better understanding for students. Being able to carry out a critical analysis of literature will allow us to evaluate the quality and interpretation of each scientific article. This research project seeks to record tomographic measurements of the anatomy related to endodontic microsurgery in mandibular first molars in a Peruvian population.
