The objective of this case study was to implement an intervention program under the behavioral approach to increase behavioral and emotional control in a 7-year-old child with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). A selection of information about the consultant was carried out, which included the interview, the evaluation with a battery of psychological tests. Then, taking into account the results of the psychological tests and the diagnosis established by the neuropediatrics area, the intervention program was implemented, which consisted of 11 sessions with a frequency of once a week. After that, follow-up was carried out using a checklist that was applied before to establish a baseline and after the intervention to observe progress according to the achievement indicator established for the desired behaviors. The results obtained were satisfactory, since in the behavioral control factor it was 60% higher than what was established in the achievement indicator and in the emotional control factor it was 40%, so the percentage established in the achievement indicator. To do this, he used psychoeducation and resources from the behavioral model which favored increasing the desired behaviors in the client and thereby improved the interaction with his environment.
