The objective of this study was to increase the level of self-esteem in a group of older adults from the province of Andahuaylas through the self-esteem workshop conducted virtually in 2023. The sample consisted of 5 adults from a health center in the said province. Their age group was between 66 and 75 years old. The workshop consisted of 16 sessions, each lasting 90 minutes. The Rosenberg scale was used to measure the self-esteem of the participants. It was used at two time points: the pre-test before the execution of the workshop, and the post-test at the end of the workshop sessions. The results showed that there was an increase in self-esteem for 80% of the participants, with their Rosenberg test scores improving after the execution of the sessions. One participant showed no change, possibly because she only attended 63% of the sessions. It was concluded that the workshop had a positive effect on the participants who attended 100% of the sessions, contributing to a healthy aging.
