The objective of the research was to analyze the relationship between inhibitory control, learning strategies and academic performance in mathematics in high school students of a private school in Huaral. It was a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational research. The sample was composed of 125 students of 3rd, 4th and 5th year of high school, of both sexes. The study variables were inhibitory control, learning strategies and academic performance in mathematics. The instrument used to measure inhibitory control was the Stroop Colors and Words Test and for learning strategies the Learning Strategies Scale - ACRA. As a result, a Pearson correlation of 0.410 was found between inhibitory control and academic performance in mathematics, as well as a Pearson correlation of 0.234 between learning strategies and academic performance in mathematics. The main conclusion of the study is that there is a positive correlation between inhibitory control and academic performance in mathematics, as well as with learning strategies, but to a lesser extent.
