Introduction: The clinicopathological features of Oral Epidermoid Carcinoma (OEC) have been little reported in our country. Knowledge of these features will allow the professional and specialist to recognize this type of malignant neoplasm early, thereby making its management more appropriate, improving the prognosis and the quality of life of the affected persons. Thematic development: 3 papers have been developed: The first is a syllabus for a continuing education course, the second is a critical review of the stomatological literature and finally a research project in stomatology. Conclusions: The elaboration of a syllabus allows us to develop and update in a systematic way, the knowledge of common oral malignancies that significantly impact people. Critical analysis of a scientific article allows us to establish its quality and the impact of its conclusions. The results of the research project will provide us a greater knowledge of the clinicopathological features of the OEC for a better management of this malignant neoplasm.
