Objective: To determine the frequency and distribution of patients with a diagnosis of OC treated at the UPCH teaching Dental Center from the year 2017 to 2022. Methods and Materials: The research study model was descriptive, retrospective, observational, and transversal, it was also decided to use the variables: Diagnosis of Collapsed Occlusion, age, sex, campus, and year of study of the operator. Results: 49,593 virtual clinical histories were reviewed, of which 95 virtual HCs were obtained with a diagnosis of OC and under the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 26 virtual HCs were obtained as a sample, where the frequency and distribution of patients 50.0% (n = 13) was higher in 2022, the mean age was 69.5 with a number of female patients 65.4%(n=17) and male patients 34.6%(n=9). The largest number of cases diagnosed occurred at the SMP headquarters with 86.6%(n=22). Undergraduate operators are the ones that made the greatest number of diagnoses with 84.6%(n=22). Loss of posterior support was found at 100%(n=26), a decrease in the vertical dimension at 100%(n=26), and absence of dental contact (dental contact with mucosa or without tooth contact with mucosa) at 100%(n=26). Conclusion: There are 26 cases with a Diagnosis of OC, and the frequency of patient attendance increased in 2022, with a higher frequency of cases of female patients between the ages of 60 and 69. Undergraduate students attended the largest number of diagnosed cases. The SMP Headquarters is where the largest number of diagnostic cases were carried.
