This professional proficiency work was carried out in a non-governmental organization (NGO) through the management of a virtual volunteer program that provides support to the second technical project of the institution. By institutional decision, the second technical project identified its volunteer needs, requesting the present author of the work, his support for the recruitment of volunteers from the regions of Lima and La Libertad, their incorporation into the entity, the assurance of their training, acknowledgments and disassociation from the entity. This program was executed virtually, due to the health emergency caused by COVID-19. The management of the program focused on 5 phases of the volunteering cycle: planning and preparation, recruitment, incorporation, performance and dismissal, based on a model proposed by the MIMP (2021) with 100 participating volunteers with profiles required by the second technical project. The main results obtained were that the management of the virtual volunteering program was in accordance with the established times, fulfilling all the phases of the volunteering cycle by 100%, as well as formally recruiting and incorporating 100 volunteers from Lima and La Libertad. ; Also, 2 training sessions were coordinated for their training, they issued 100 certificates as recognition and through a virtual closure with the assistance of 91 volunteers participating in the program, the disengagement was ensured. Finally, the satisfaction of the program participants was known through a satisfaction survey, obtaining that 92% of volunteers in Lima and 86% of volunteers in La Libertad feel very satisfied with the volunteer program.
