From a clinical point of view, urinary tract infections are among the most prevalent infections worldwide. Its high prevalence carries a significant burden due to the costs associated with healthcare and the increasing levels of antibiotic resistance. Objective: To describe the antimicrobial resistance profile of uropathogens isolated in the emergency, hospitalization and outpatient services of the Sub Regional Hospital of Andahuaylas during the period 2013 - 2019. Materials and methods: Descriptive, retrospective and non-experimental study. The sample consisted of 902 records of positive urine cultures that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a non-probabilistic sample was worked on for convenience and the documentary analysis technique was used, whose instrument was the data collection sheet. The Microsoft Excel program was used to tabulate the data and the SPSS program for statistical analysis. Results: The most prevalent uropathogen was Escherichia coli, followed by Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella sp. In relation to the resistance according to the origin of the service, E. coli was isolated in the three services, however, the resistance varied according to the place of origin. Resistance rates for each uropathogen were different and statistically significant for most antibiotics per service and year of study. Conclusion: The most frequent uropathogen was E. coli with 90.13%. The frequency of uropathogens by service of origin was 78.5%, 14.2%, and 7.3% for outpatient, emergency, and hospitalization services, respectively. Likewise, E. coli showed a high resistance against ceftazidime of 75%, S. aureus and Klebsiella sp. of 72.2% and 79.3%, to gentamicin respectively.
