The objective of this study was to determine if the application of "EducaTICs" intervention program will increase the achievement of digital competencies in the students of the Faculty of Human Medicine of a public university in Metropolitan Lima. It is of quantitative approach, experimental type, explanatory level and quasiexperimental design. It was evaluated with the Digital Competences Questionnaire, which was validated through a psychometric analysis. Subsequently, it was applied pre and post intervention of the educational program to a sample of 66 students. It was found that after the program exposure, the intervention group (n=33) obtained a higher score in the posttest (M=161.88, SD=24.82) than in the pretest (M=100.67, SD=40.77), also the inferential analysis was statistically significant with respect to both scores (t=-7.14, p=.00), in the same way this group obtained statistically significant results in the five dimensions evaluated. With respect to the control group (n=33), which was not exposed to the educational program, they obtained a higher score in the posttest (m=100.03, ds=35.95) than in the pretest (m=97.06, ds=35.41), however the inferential analysis showed that there were no statistically significant differences (t=-.29, p=.76), thus showing statistically significant differences between both groups. Concluding that the "EducaTICs" program was successful in increasing the achievement of digital competences in Peruvian university students.
