The objective of this documentary research was to analyze the psychological repercussions on the parents of minors with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) during the COVID-19 pandemic; for this, scientific articles published between 2020 and 2022 were analyzed. It was concluded that the main problems referred to the cessation or virtuality of special education and specialized therapies, as well as the interruption of the economy and the employment situation of parents as a result of the pandemic. In this sense, the vast majority of parents of minors with ASD presented psychological repercussions such as anxiety, depression, stress, psychological distress and caregiver overload during the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, a reduced number of interventions that had the purpose of reducing the psychological repercussions in this population was evidenced, for which the relevance of developing this type of intervention is highlighted.
