The proposed research aimed to identify the relationship between life satisfaction and the variable socio-emotional skills, school climate, school violence, peer support and adult support in high school students, according to sex, school grade, socioeconomic level and family composition, through a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational and explanatory design. The sample consisted of 3,778 students from 75 public educational institutions from districts of Lima with a high rate of violence. The results found that the regression explains 28.63% of the variance, with all the independent variables being significant. The variable "socio-emotional skills" is the one that most positively affected satisfaction with life, regardless of sex, school grade, socioeconomic level and family composition; In the case of women, "socio-emotional skills" are the variable that had the most impact on their satisfaction with life; For those adolescents who do not live with both parents, the variables of school violence, school climate, peer and adult support showed a greater relationship with life satisfaction than those who do live with both parents. The research proposes to improve and strengthen these variables in the promotion programs of schools in all grades, due to their high relevance.
