Major Depressive Disorder, characterized by feelings of sadness, significant loss of pleasure or interest in daily activities, sleep disturbances, irritability and feelings of guilt, for a minimum period of two weeks, and Borderline Personality Disorder, described from the constant patterns of instability, impulsiveness and emotional dysregulation, chronic feeling of emptiness and difficulties in managing anger, are two mental health diseases that significantly alter the person's abilities to cope and fully enjoy life. The present work aims to describe the design and implementation of an individualized treatment plan focused on the experience of a case study that meets these clinical characteristics, for this purpose, the methods used are detailed: Psychological Observation, Clinical Analysis of Behavior, ABC Register, Cognitive Restructuring and the administration of psychometric and projective tests: Patient Health Questionnaire and Person in the Rain Test. The intrafamily dynamics, support networks, life history and personal resources, factors involved in the chronicity of the case, are explored and analyzed. Through the sessions, adherence to psychological and psychopharmacological treatments was promoted; a significant improvement was obtained in the intensity and frequency of suicidal ideation and self-injurious behavior through the reduction of depressive symptoms and progress in the management of depression. impulsivity related to borderline personality disorder.
