Background: There is little research on clinical management of accidental exposure to sharp teeth in the face of biological risks in health services. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge and attitudes about clinical management in accidental exposure to sharps in a clinic in metropolitan Lima. Methods and Materials: The study was descriptive, of non-experimental design, with quantitative method, and cross-sectional. The study population consisted of 120 nursing graduates, who work in the areas of hospitalization, ICU and emergency. The data collection technique was the survey and prior signature of informed consent, to which a validated questionnaire was applied; descriptive analysis was used. Results: The nursing professionals had less than a year of work experience, and received no training regarding clinical management in the face of accidental exposure to sharps, 52.5% of the population presented an average level of knowledge, in relation to the attitudes presented by nursing professionals were mostly positive attitudes with 55.83%. Conclusion: In relation to clinical management in accidental exposure to sharps, the level of knowledge was medium, and attitudes were positive.
