The aim of this study was to relate stress levels and social skills in adolescents. The type of research was cross-sectional, with a correlational design. The Goldstein Social Skills Scale and the SISCO Academic Stress Inventory were administered to 150 students between 15 and 17 years of age. The results indicate that there is no significant association between stress and social skills, an aspect obtained through the statistical test of Pearson's Chi-Square, however, when performing a dimensional analysis, there is a relationship between the first social skills, advanced social skills, alternative social skills to aggression, social skills to cope with stress and social skills for planning and moderate levels of stress in the adolescent population of the Educational Unit of Palora Ecuador.
