The objective of this research was to determine the situation regarding the use of communication media and Information Technology (ICT) in primary level teachers of rural and urban educational institutions in the Ucayali region, according to the ENDO 2018 survey. methodological approach was quantitative and simple descriptive design with a complex variable. Regarding the instruments, the National Survey of Teachers (ENDO) 2018 was used. Among the most outstanding results, it was found that a little more than half of the teachers do not use the radio, the printed media and the digital newspaper. Also, e-mail is the service most used by teachers, but very little used to receive information about their teaching activity. Likewise, it was found that many of these professionals prefer to receive information from the Ministry of Education (Minedu) through text messages. It is concluded that the most used means of communication are TV, email, Facebook and WhatsApp. Likewise, the means to find out about their teaching activity are linked to the services offered by the Minedu, in addition, the vast majority of teachers have a positive opinion about the effects of ICT on work in the classroom.
