The purpose of this research was to determine the intensity of the relationship between Self-efficacy and Executive Functions in older men who play chess in Metropolitan Lima. The research is of a basic level, non-experimental type and correlational-descriptive design. The population consists of 60 Male Elderly Adults aged 60 to 65 years. The instruments used were: Neuropsychological Battery of Executive Functions and Frontal Lobes, Second Edition (Banfe – 2) - Dorsolateral and the General Self-efficacy Scale. The results show that there is a high relationship between Self-efficacy and Executive Functions (r: 0.85), it was also found that the degree of instruction does not affect the relationship between both variables (r: 0.86). In addition, it was shown that there is a high relationship between Self-efficacy and Mental flexibility (r: of 0.76), Productivity (r: of 0.81), Verbal fluency (r: of 0.82) and Sequential planning (r: of 0.73). For the Visuospatial Planning function, a low correlation was found (r: of 0.21).
