For several years we have been in an environmental crisis and due to globalization, a lot of research about this subject has been carried out and disseminated. From this, the concept of environmental awareness is more important than before and academic studies have been carried out on how to develop it. Due to this, a bibliographic analysis is necessary to determine the characteristics of the academic production of undergraduate thesis in Peru in relation to environmental awareness in Primary Education students between the years 2012 to 2019. This quantitative study has allowed us to know that in 2018, the largest number of publications have been made, that the most chosen unit of analysis has been boys and girls in the fifth cycle and that all theses took into account at least 2 dimensions of environmental awareness. It is concluded that changes in policies related to environmental education influence the publication of research on the subject. The choice of the fifth cycle as the unit of analysis may be due to the level of moral and cognitive development proposed by Piaget. The conative dimension, also called dispositional dimension, was the least considered in the revised theses.
