The objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of a Soluble Fish Concentrate (CSP) on the productive and immunological parameters in broiler chickens up to 30 days of age. 240 one day old male chicks (COBB 500) were used, distributed under a completely randomized design with 6 treatments with 5 repetitions per treatment and 8 birds per repetition. Each treatment (experimental diet) was made based on a commercial diet and contained different concentrations of CSP: T2 = 0.5g/kg, T3 = 1g/kg, T4 = 2.5g/kg, T5= 5g/kg, T6 = 10g/kg and T1 = 0g/kg (control treatment without addition of CSP). The normality of the variances of the quantitative variables was analyzed through the Shapiro Wilk test. Then, if the assumptions of normality were fulfilled, the one-way análisis of variance (ANOVA) was used and the Bonferroni test was used for the differences between means. For the parameters that did not comply with the normality assumptions, the Kruskall- Wallis test was used, with a significance leve lof 95%. No significantly positive improvements were found in productive behavior for the variables Weight gain, Food Consumption and Food conversion; for the immunological parameters, there was no significant difference at day 21. However, a difference was found at day 28 in 3 parameters (IL2, IgA, NC titers). For IL2, T6 differed with respect to T1, for IgA T4 and T6 stood out, in the same way for NC T5 and T6. Being T6 the only treatment that excelled in the 3 parameters where statistical difference was found. It is concluded that the addition of CSP does not bring improvements in the productive parameters added in the diet of broilers; however, T6 had a positive effect on the immunological parameters with respect to its control (T1).
