Background: Academic stress refers to any type of stress that occurs within the educational environment. On the other hand, physical activity is considered to be any movement carried out by the human body that involves energy expenditure. Research has shown that most college students lack physical exercise and high academic stress; Consequently, both situations become worrisome due to the current situation (COVID-19). Objective: To describe the level of Academic Stress and level of Physical Activity in university students of the Professional School of Medical Technology of the Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University during the second academic period - 2020. Methods and Materials: Observational study, of a descriptive cross-sectional type, whose sample was at least 96 university students, selected by non-probabilistic sampling - for Convenience. Results: 59.38% of university students have presented academic stress at a moderate level; Of the total of men, 61.90% had a moderate level of academic stress, in the same way of the total of women, 58.67% showed moderate levels of academic stress. 42.71% of university students performed low Physical Activity; Of the total of men, 42.86% had a high level of Physical Activity and of the total of women, 45.33% had low Physical Activity. Likewise, it was found that students spend more than 6 hours sitting a day. Conclusions: University students of the EPTM of the UPCH who receive distance education showed moderate academic stress and low level of physical activity during the second academic period - 2020.
